If you are looking for individual researchers working on anaerobic fungi, you can also start by having a look at our list of featured researchers. There are of course many more AF researchers than these though – many of whom are AFN members and listed in the AFN Members Directory.
This section also contains reference databases of taxonomic markers for known AF genera, and these can be used to annotate amplicon sequencing data and/or to build reference trees.
