This workshop at IAFC 2026 will highlight the recent progress in anaerobic fungal research in the Rumen Gateway project, covering isolation techniques, genomics, and their roles in rumen function and methane mitigation.

Rumen Gateway is funded by the Global Methane Hub, and seeks to foster collaboration and advance the application of anaerobic fungal science in sustainable animal agriculture.
